How to force Synchronization Address Book from Lync Server & Client.

The System Administrator must force the sync between server & client,

He can do this operation by tow way:-

     1-      The client side way: he must close the Lync Client and remove Lync Client cache files in this bath C:\Users\E.Zaki\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Communicator\ he will found folder by his account name like ‘sip_e.zaki@egyptnetwork.com’   he must remove this folder after update in all user need to see this update.

Tip: I think this way not useable for multi user.

     2-      The Server Side Way: He must force the Address Book Synchronization between Server & Client from server by use this steps in Lync Server :

a.       Open in Lync Server ‘Lync Server Management Shell ’ from

b.      Write this commend ‘Update-CsAddressBook’ to force Sync the address book from server to All client

c.       To check the Address Book Synchronization operation if it done well you can do it in Lync Event log.
